"Brightly, Strongly, Like a dandelion. Even if trampled, Even if trampled, It still blooms. Like a dandelion. On this planet, Let us root deeply, And live."- Sakamura Shinmin

Characters and Phrases (黒音 - Black Sound)
While this kanji is mostly about being free, I associate it with 'joy of living' and the best way to depict this is a poem by Sakamura Shinmin "Tampopo" (Dandelion). It is one of his most beloved works. It is often cited in Japan as a source of immense courage and the "joy of living" (ikigai) despite adversity.
